ABE robot animatronic head

The Idealist is a dystopian science-fiction short film project whose great particularity is the use of an animatronic, a special effect which is rarely used in student short films.

Our robot is able to turn its head and its eyes, to blink and to open and close its mouth. Our team consisting of engineer students, we had the technical means and skills to conceive and build this robot, who is a key character in our film.

Our film was released on YouTube in July 2019. It is available in French with English and German subtitles.
